Play to Learn. Learn to Lead. Challenge

Overview

Leadership is a social process for everyone in the organization. Great leaders are intentional with their actions to get things done. Effective leaders ask for feedback, listen appreciatively, ask questions in service of others, and celebrate wins.

Leaders can inspire and motivate others through an appreciative and positive mindset. In this Challenge, you’ll apply these skills in your own life.

Action Plan

Here’s a list of ways to Make It in the Play to Learn, Learn to Lead Challenge:

  • Listen appreciatively (‘Tell me more”, “Thanks for sharing that”, “Yes And”)
  • Encourage others, be positive and celebrate small wins/accomplishments
  • Ask questions to enable others (“How do you think we should proceed?”, “What other options should we consider?”)
  • Ask for feedback and act on it
  • Do something for someone else (act of kindness)
