Looking for a way to raise awareness and help find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis (CF) with a group of family, friends or other local champions? 

This 65 Roses 5K challenge is your way to raise awareness for CF by simply committing to run/walk 65 5Ks as a team over the next few weeks. 

Details

Join this 4-week challenge and follow along with your fellow teammates to track your daily progress and stay motivated together by sharing your daily makes in the mobile app. 

Each "make" in the challenge is a 5K run/walk with an overall team goal of 65 "makes" during the challenge period. You can choose to run/walk by participating in a local race, or simply at home, at your gym, or outside at a park. Be sure to run/walk at least 3 times a week so you can comfortably achieve your goals with a small team.

At the beginning of each month's challenge you will have the option to donate to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is the world’s leader in the search for a cure for cystic fibrosis. They fund more CF research than any other organization, and nearly every CF drug available today was made possible because of Foundation support.


ABOUT 65 ROSES AND CF

65 Roses is how kids refer to Cystic Fibrosis (CF) as the actual disease name is too difficult for them to pronounce. CF is the most common, fatal genetic disease in the United States. About 30,000 people in the US have the disease. Learn more here.

ABOUT THE HOST

Sweat For Cystic Fibrosis was started by a family whose youngest daughter has CF. They wanted to raise awareness for CF while motivating and encouraging individuals with CF, their families and friends to stay active.

HOW TO PLAY

Run/walk a 5K at least 3 times per week with a goal of getting in 65 5Ks for the month as a team!

Be sure to Make It (or take an Off Day) every day and share your photo, location proofs with your team.

SUPPORT YOUR TEAM

Support each other by leaving fist-bumps and replies for your teammates as you make progress. 

And, you can always play power, quote, or reminder cards to keep the team going!

DON'T FORGET ...

Feel free to leave comments for your host and teammates with any questions, thoughts, etc.

And, if you haven't already, invite your most supportive friends, family and peers along for fun and support!
